Travel Marketing Awards – Best advertising campaign of the year (under £250,000)
The brief – The Azores, while a breathtaking place to visit, was not considered a first choice destination for holidays. Our job was to capture the spirit of this stunning archipelago of nine volcanic islands.
The solution – With a relatively small budget, we created a campaign that highlighted the unique and amazing experiences each island had to offer, including whale watching and walking around volcano craters.
The campaign won Best Advertising Campaign of the year (under £250,000) at the Travel Marketing Awards with a 98% increase in traffic to visitazores.com plus, a significant increase in holiday bookings to the Azores.
